A career full of highlights
His impressive achievements as a stand-up comedian speak volumes: a finalist in various comedy competitions, winner of the Komiekaze Kup 2006, and a permanent member of The Comedy Explosion until 2015. Hank has spread his humor far and wide, from Lowlands to international comedy festivals in Barcelona, Rotterdam, and Luxembourg. In 2009, he co-founded Comedyhuis in Utrecht, a platform that not only organizes shows but also mentors new talent. As the icing on the cake, Hank was also involved in the annual Utrecht International Comedy Festival at TivoliVredenburg. However, in 2018, he decided to take a new path and focus entirely on his solo career.

From the stage to the screen and back again
But Hank is not just a comedian. His career in the media began in the ’90s, first as a radio presenter on VPRO Radio 3 and later as a television maker and director for various programs. His journalistic insight also led him to current affairs programs like Hier & Nu and Netwerk.
